Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge VS Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge+
Last year Samsung amazed its fans with the launch of its beautiful flagship line up the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. They added a new category in the lineup naming it Galaxy S(6 and onwards) Edge. In favor of design and beauty, Samsung ditched the waterproofing they introduced in the Galaxy S5. SD card support was also lacking. Fans were very angry about this decision. Some of them accepted this but Galaxy S7 may change their minds.
But this year it looks like that Samsung listened to their customer feedback and they are bringing the SD card slot and the water proofing back in the new Galaxy flagship devices. The Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge is coming back with the addition of SD card slot and waterproofing. It is also rumored that Samsung will use 12MP Camera sensor instead of 16MP that they used in the S6, S6 Edge, Note 5 and S6 Edge+. Samsung’s new camera sensor is rumored to be exceptional in image quality by compromising on Mega Pixel game. Early Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge render also suggest minor design improvements. Galaxy S7 VS S6:
Last Galaxy S6 was powered by Exynos processor as we haven’t seen Qualcomm due to the issues with Snapdragon 810 chip. Samsung used their own processor for their flagship device. The power of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge was phenomenal as they were the great performer and their An Tu Tu score was also great.
This year’s S7 and S7 Edge is rumored to have both versions of Qualcomm and Exynos Octa processors. Samsung’s S6 and S6 Edge were rocking 3GB DDR4 RAM. But this year’s flagship Galaxy lineup is rumored to have 4GB of RAM. Camera sensor was of 16MP in S6 and S6 Edge. S7 ad S7 Edge may have a 12MP camera with improved low-light photography and image quality. The display may be the same as that of S6 which had 5.1″ Quad HD Super AMOLED Display.
Galaxy S7 Edge will have one plus feature from the S7 and that is Display size only. S7 Edge will have a 5.7″ Quad HD Super AMOLED Display instead of 5.1″ QHD Super AMOLED. The back side of this years’ phones will have a less camera bump and a curved style like we have seen in the Note 5’s design. The edges are also more round than those of previous phones.
