How to mirror Android Screen to Windows 10 PC:
For this, you have to download nothing. But make sure that you are running Windows 10 (Anniversary update) and your Android Smartphone supports Miracast/Cast feature. If you don’t have the anniversary update, then you can get it by following this guide. After getting the anniversary update, you don’t need anything else.
In Windows 10 anniversary update, Microsoft added an App which is named as “Connect.” The App allows us to connect any display and project it to Windows 10 PC or Laptop. Just follow these steps below to mirror your smartphone’s screen:
- Open Connect App in Windows 10
- Now turn ON casting or wireless display or Mira Cast from settings App of your smartphone
- After enabling Wireless display, you will see your PC’s name there
- Connect with PC and accept your smartphone to connect from Windows 10
- Your screen will start projecting to Windows 10 🙂
There is also support for audio in some devices. Also, enable wireless display option might be in separate location depending on your smartphone. You will see “Screen Mirroring” option in Samsung devices and Miracast in LG smartphones. You can also watch movies from your smartphone on your Laptop or PC. With this method, you can also project a PC screen running Windows 10 anniversary update to the other PC running the same version of Windows 10.
